This privacy policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

1. Data We Collect

Lessen does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. The app does not collect:

Lessen does not use analytics or tracking technologies of any kind, and contains no ads. The only exception is purchase processing for Lessen Pro, described below.

2. Local Data Stored on Your Device

Lessen only stores data locally on your device, including:

This information never leaves your device except where noted in the sections below. It is not linked to your identity and is not shared with any third party for advertising or analytics purposes.

3. Notifications

Lessen schedules local reminder notifications on your device using data you provide (habit names, reminder times, onboarding answers). These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on-device.

4. Lessen Pro, In-App Purchases & RevenueCat

Lessen offers an optional paid upgrade, Lessen Pro, available as a monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play's in-app billing system.

We use RevenueCat, a subscription management platform, to validate purchases and track your Pro entitlement across app sessions. When you buy or restore a purchase, RevenueCat receives a Google-generated purchase token and an anonymous, app-specific user identifier. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, or payment or card details; Google Play handles those.

Lessen does not receive or store your payment card or other full payment details. Your habits, completions, streaks, and settings are never sent to Google Play or RevenueCat; the services receive only technical information needed to verify and manage your Pro entitlement.

5. No Data Sharing or Selling

Lessen does not share user information with any third parties beyond what is necessary to process and manage Lessen Pro purchases (Section 4). Lessen does not sell data, does not use data for advertising, and does not use data for analytics or profiling.

6. Children's Privacy

Lessen does not target children and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including users under 13.

7. Security

All habit data stored by Lessen remains on your device. The app does not connect to any private servers, and its only external connections are to Google Play Billing and RevenueCat for processing Lessen Pro purchases.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the 'Last Updated' date will be changed. You should review this page periodically.
